Elizabeth is also the author of Eli's Wings - a memoir.

He travels widely to research his books, which in the last two years has led him to running with the bulls in Pamplona, cage shark diving in South Africa chasing tornadoes in Kansas and searching out black witches in Mexico.
When not indulging an apparent death wish, he lives in Perth. He claims that if he really was tired of living, he'd move to Adelaide.
